Put Your Head on Straight!

I love this picture of Heather! She took the picture herself. It cracks me up that her head is tilted sideways. It seems like EVERY time I take a picture of her I have to tell her "put your head on straight." And it's not just when she is in front of the camera, either. She just doesn't look at life the way other people do. And that is a very good thing.

We had some friends over for dinner last night and we somehow got talking about funny things the girls did when they were younger. More than half of the stories involved Heather. She just looks at life differently than most people. She really makes me think sometimes and she often makes me laugh. I never want her to "put her head on straight" because I would miss her sense of humor and her insight.
