~ Emily got a second-degree sunburn on her shoulders and arms.
~ Levi got stung on his stomach by a jellyfish.
~ Amanda developed a rash on her legs.
~ Heather lacerated her leg.
They ended up coming home early because the kids were all complaining. How sad to waste a lovely day in San Diego!
Heather's injury occured when she climbed on a rock near the beach. The rock had coral and clam shells and was rather jagged. Heather has tough feet and didn't care....until a wave knocked her feet out from under her. Her hip landed on the rock and she slid backward off of it.
The wounds hurt so bad that she lived in these volleyball shorts for a week.

While the girls loved playing on the beach, they decided they would like to stay home for a while....at least until their wounds from the last trip heal.
