We have a computer some friends gave us. The kids use it to play games and do homework. The monitor gave out recently so Papa gave us a new monitor. He is a computer whiz.
Pat installed the monitor for us. He is also a computer whiz. Unfortunately, the new monitor does not have any sound capabilities. It drives Heather and Megan nuts because their games are totally quiet. What good is a game without all the annoying music and sound??
So last night Megan had reached her breaking point. She was tired of the lack of sound and started fiddling with the speakers to make them work. She discovered that Pat hadn't plugged the speakers into the new monitor! (Okay, so maybe he isn't such a computer whiz. Hee Hee)
Megan crawled under the desk and plugged the speakers in. SOUND! She was so happy!
I was so proud of Megan. She inherited the computer savvy gene from her dad's family. She certainly didn't get that from me. Good job, Megan!
