Very Important Princesses

The Young Women in our stake went to girls' camp over the Fourth of July weekend this year.  Their theme was VIP- Very Important Princesses.  Everyone received pink shirts and other princess attire, like tiaras and necklaces.  My tomboy Emily struggled with the theme and abundance of pink, but thoroughly enjoyed her camp experience and the things she learned.  Below are some photos of the fun they had.

Heather and Emily gathering their gear as I dropped them off
Sister Barnes giving Emily her first princess item:
a pearl necklace

What would camp be without crafts??

Emily and the other 4th year girls receive their certificates.
Emily's BFFs Clarcy and Kendra are also in the photo.

Each ward made a ward flag.  This was our flag.

Everyone from our ward who went to camp:
back row, L-R, Ashlyn, Sister Barnes, Heather, Emily, Sister Miranda, Sister Fisk.
Front row: Elizabeth, Cheyenne, Morgan, Karissa, Abby

It looks like they had a great time.  Megan gets to go next year and she can't wait!!
