For Megan's birthday, she said all she wanted was to get a pedicure and manicure. She talked about it for weeks. She invited her cousin Stephanie to join us because Stephanie's birthday is close to Megan's. Megan planned our whole day.
Megan and Stephanie both discovered the getting a pedicure is hard when your feet are ticklish. Ha Ha All the other customers and all the workers were laughing at them because they tried to hard not to be ticklish. Megan requested a French pedicure and matching manicure with pink tips covered in glitter. She had to show them off to everyone at church today. She is quite excited.
Stephanie got a traditional French pedicure and I had a plain color with white daisies (my favorite flower). They even put clear crystals in the center of the daisies. We have decided we need to make another trip to the nail salon and take the other girls in our family. They would love this!

Megan wanted to eat at McDonald's. Mom doesn't like McDonald's.....what Mom does?!? We found a compromise: we stopped to get ice cream. Megan was thrilled to eat at McDonald's and Mom didn't have to choke down food she doesn't like. Life is good!
After eating ice cream, we went to see Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian. We love the first Night at the Museum movie and the second one was pretty fun, too. It was a great Girls' Day Out!
