A Swingin' Holiday

Megan in the 5th and 6th grade choir, front and center.

Megan joined the 5th grade choir this year. She goes to school an hour early every Tuesday for rehearsals. She LOVES it!

Choir was a natural choice for Megan since she is always singing as she does homework, reads, plays, rides her scooter, etc. She sings her little heart out in church and she is always the first one to turn on the music in the car.

When it came time for the annual holiday concert, Megan decided to try out for an individual part...and got it. She was SO excited! She sang in a small group and invited everyone she knew to come and watch her sing.

Emily and I sat on the front row so I could get this great shot of Megan singing her part. It was great to see Megan go into "performance mode." She was really having a great time, especially when the choir sang their final number, "A Swingin' Holiday." Megan was totally rocking out to the music.
