Our Christmas tree this yearWe just love putting up our Christmas tree each year. There is something about a Christmas tree that just brings the Spirit of Christmas into our home. We love to look at each of the ornaments and remember when and where we got them. We remember family and friends. We remember Christmases past. It is a great adventure for us every year.
This year someone else enjoyed this adventure....our kitten, Awesome. He wasn't sure at first what to think about all these things in the middle of the living room. However, once the tree was up and we put presents under it, Awesome couldn't have been happier.
Awesome's favorite spot was under the Christmas tree, right in front. He kept trying to push the presents out of his way so the girls rearranged the presents to make room for him. He would spend hours sitting under the lighted tree.
Awesome was also fascinated by all the pretty presents. We had to re-wrap several presents because he kept chewing on them. The girls eventually put the littlest presents in the top of the tree to keep them out of reach!
Awesome also discovered that he could stand on a kitchen chair and peek out the front window. The girls laughed and said he was watching to Santa Claus to come.
