A rare quiet moment
I think they were digesting the sugar from that cake and the ice cream.
Perhaps the best part of the night was when a police cruiser pulled into the driveway. The kids had been outside being rowdy. We always warn the neighbors but you never know what people will do. Some of the kids were a little nervous, but it turned out to be our good friend Matt, whose kids were at the party. He was heading to an off-duty assignment a mile away so he stopped by to say hello.
He also refused to shoot one of the boys who asked to be tased. LOL
It was a great night of fun and laughter. If my kids get many more friends I may need to get a bigger house. Thank goodness they spent much of the night on the front lawn playing games.
