Childhood Memories

Growing up, my grandpa used to take us out to collect Monarch caterpillars.  He built wood and mesh cages so we could watch them transform from caterpillars to butterflies.  Many times he would call us and say, "They are hatching from their cocoons!  Hurry out to watch!"

This video reminded me of Grandpa.  I also learned several things about their early stage that I didn't know.  Enjoy!
