Sqooshy Grass

My dad planted winter grass for us this year.  Winter grass is THE MOST AMAZING GRASS!  It is soft and lush and incredibly green.  The two little girls across the street came over with their dad the other day while we were outside.  Both girls sat down and took off their shoes, then stood in ecstasy as they wiggled their toes in the deep grass.

I laughed and asked them if they liked our grass.  The three year old nodded with a big grin.  "It's squooshy!"

Her sister sprawled in the grass as if to make a "grass angel." 

Thank you, Grandpa, for our "squooshy grass".  We love it!
