Girls Rule!

Emily took this photo of her dad.  I am including it for several reasons.

A)  It is so "Pat".  If you know him, you know what I mean.  This is a common look for him.

B)  I like his shirt.  Ha Ha   I like SPAM.

C)  If you look carefully, you can see a bandage on his left hand.  To be more precise, on his left thumb.  He got it by being so "Pat."

With his recent marriage, Pat now has FOUR daughters (our three and one step-daughter).  Amanda is between Emily and Heather in age.  Pat teases her as much as he does his other daughters.  The difference is that Amanda trains horses and wears cowgirl boots quite frequently. 

He was recently harrassing Amanda while she was lounging on the couch.  She struck at him with a booted foot, so he grabbed her foot.  She used the other foot to kick his hand, thinking he would simply let go.  He did, but it was because she dislocated his thumb!  He ended up with an urgent care visit and a splint.

While we all feel bad because it hurt a lot, we still have to laugh.  He is always pestering the girls and one of them finally got the better of him.  (Now that his hand is better, Pat can laugh at it, too.  Hee Hee)
