Old Friends Are The Best Friends

Our friends Matt and Rachel and their family used to be in our ward and lived only a few blocks from us. Now they live 60 miles away! We just don't see each other as often now and we miss them terribly. That's why it was so good to get together with them again during spring break. We spent hours and hours catching up and playing. We had so much fun that neither Rachel nor I remembered to pull out the camera!

A few weeks later, Cooper was baptized so we got together again. This time we made a point of getting the cameras out. I cannot believe how much these kids have all grown (mine as well as Rachel's).

This is Cooper. Isn't he a cutie? Rachel said he is a real ladies' man at school. Too funny! He's gonna be a heartbreaker by the time he is in high school.

Mercedes and Emily

Matt and Rachel's oldest daughter and my oldest daughter are still the best of friends. It doesn't matter how much time elapses between visits; these two girls just pick up right where they left off. In fact, we all do. That's a sign of great friends. How blessed we are!
